Please note: This is considered an intermediate-level course, so an understanding of basic POCUS principles, machine function, and modes is presumed. We do not recommend taking this course if you have had no previous POCUS experience.

  • Incorporating POCUS into Cardiac Arrest

    • Understanding the benefits and evidence behind POCUS in cardiac arrest

    • Avoid pitfalls when utilizing POCUS in cardiac arrest

  • Risk Stratifying your Patient with Pulmonary Embolism using POCUS

    • Understand POCUS findings in pulmonary embolism and how to act on them clinically

  • Ultrasound in the SHOCK-ED Patient

    • Utilize POCUS to rapidly identify the cause of critical illness or hypotension
